Cover your ears,
The chants are getting louder,
The voices won't stop,
At this rate, consumption is inevitable.

Brace yourself for the poison you've ingested.
This simplistic situation was over joyous.
And this bloody mess has gotten out of hand.
Social butterflies are unavoidable.

Inhale tomorrow; Exhale yesterday.
There's not much left.
Time is vanishing.
Intoxication.

Wake up.
The Moment of Departure is close.
Prepare for eternal slumber,
Soundless, dreamless sleep.
They reacquaint themselves.

"Take my hand and just breathe." He gestured a promise.
Swallow your fears.
No doubts, no turning back, no second chances.
Sounds of suicide.

A deep midnight sky engulfed the twilight moment,
And just like that, the rising of a full moon occurred.
Stopping midway, the stars took their shift,
Painting glitter in the sky, while the ground illuminated yellow.

"It's beautiful." She sighed under her breath.
"You're beautiful." he indirectly answered her.
Breathless.
Their eyes met, and forever was implied.
